I understand and acknowledge that participating in a basketball tournament is a physically demanding activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, physical injury, accidents, or property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the Event, whether known or unknown to me at this time.

Waiver of Liability

I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, do hereby waive, release, and discharge Vive City Chapel, its officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, organizers, agents, and any other individuals or entities involved in the Event, from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from any injury, loss, or damage that I may incur during my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence, accident, or any other reason.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vive City Chapel, its officers, employees, volunteers, and all other parties associated with the Event, from any and all claims, lawsuits, damages, or costs, including legal fees, arising from any injury, illness, or property damage I may cause or sustain during the Event.

Medical Treatment

In the event of an injury, I authorize Vive City Chapel or its representatives to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I agree to bear all costs associated with medical treatment and transportation in the event of an emergency.

Conduct and Compliance

I agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Event organizers, and I acknowledge that any failure to comply with the rules may result in my disqualification from the Event. I further agree to respect other participants and behave in a sportsmanlike manner.

Photography and Media Release

I grant permission to Vive City Chapel and its representatives to take photographs, video, or audio recordings during the Event, which may include images or recordings of me. I understand that these materials may be used for promotional purposes and waive any rights to compensation or ownership of the media.

Acknowledgment of Understanding

I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the contents of this Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up legal rights, including the right to sue, and I voluntarily agree to its terms.
